The price of the Shelby GT's in this area are under 50K...well, basically 50K. But still, they've been going for 70+K for a long time.

Well, I'm not going to go out and buy one new. I'd wait for a used one at best. As far as the Z06, I'm not sure what the comparison is really (as far as who would win) - they're different beasts IMO (muscle car vs sports car), and the C6 was listed at 70K, and are still going for about 79K around here. The Shelby was listed at 42K, but marked up to around 70K.
