RE: my 3650 dissasemmbaly process

Heres an exploded view of a 3650... http://www.promotionpowertrain.com/1524384.html
And like someone mentioned before, the bellhousing cant be removed from the transmission. The bellhousing is actually the front of the case, it houses and supports the internals... Good thing you didnt manage to take it off... It is a dumb design, it would be so much easier if it was designed like every other manual....

hahaha, i found an easier way! i found out i can reach the top bolts from the bottom. i just tried putting a long extention up the but i broke a swivel with my impact trying it that way. tomarrow im picking up more extensions and impact swivels. one of the reasons i really didn't want to remove the headers is because some of the header bolts were cross threaded(from my noob friend installing them) anywayit should be out tomarrow and i will see what the inside of the trans looks like and at the end of the month TKO!!!!!

Good luck man.

Sounds like an ordeal if you ask me lol.

Hope all goes well, and then you can get that thing a trans you can beat the crap out of and NOT worry
about breaking...well, not that you worried about the previous tranny, but you catch the drift.

yay, i got it out. lets just say theres alot less ceramic coating on my headers, fug it anyway soon im getting a terminator motor. im going to take it apart and find the culprit for my tranny woes, and hopefully sell it. if not, scrap it.

RE: my 3650 dissasemmbaly process

allright, i took it apart and found 3rd and 4th syncs were good. the only thing really bad was the 3rd/4th shift fork. the two arms broke off and got ground down and melted. everything else in it is great. i might get a new fork and sell it. but im on to bigger better things with the tko. i put the stock trans behind me.
