2v's are very restrictive when it comes to modding them. simple bolt ons only do so much. now a 4v on the other hand is much more responsive to bolt ons and it limits are further potentialin hp.

2v head flow =poor. 4v head flow====awesome potential. Forced induction will make a 2v run(N/A 2v seem to be limited to 400RWHP)...twin turbo up to 700RWHP...where a 4v can make 1000plus with a twin turbo...how much do you really needand how uch can you really afford?....
My goal=550 RWHP with a vorteched 2v....

its all for potential value. i think alot of people personally think that just swapping the heads alone with give you massive amounts of power. all it really does is open the door to more power, granted you will get some added power, but the main reson is for potential

It also comes down to alot of people wanting to bite off more than they can chew.

For MOST of the average owners here, a relatively well bolt on 2V GT with a blower will be more than enough power we'll ever need.

But when people see the numbers that Terminators, Machs, and N/A Cobras are making with 1/4 the money spent, they instantly want to jump straight to the 4 valver per cylinder boat. Not that I can really blame them, but in all reality, unless youre for some reason stuck on being naturally aspirated, there is little need to drop the money for a 4 valve head setup.

Sure I'm interested in having an awfully quick car someday, but mid to low 12's *which would be my goal* is more than achievable on a blown/turbod/juiced 2v.
