Default nitrous help

sorry for posting thisQ in the newbee section but here it is again. I have a 2003 gt and I'm going to buy a zex wet nitrous system, I was wondering if the stock 2v pistons and rods can handle 125hp shot and if it could will the motor last?

Zex rates their kits at the flywheel, so you would be putting down about 100 wheel horsepower give or take a few. Yes your engine can handle that. I am running a 100 shot that is rated at the rear wheels so it is equivalent to your set up.

have you had any problems with that set up at all? I also read that you have to nock off 2 to 4 degrees of total timing for every 100 hp you add to your motor is that ture aswell?
