So I have a few mods for my 2003 gt but my buddy who has nothing but a CAI to his 01 pulls on me. I would think at least with my 4.10's I should be able to spank him. But also...I put a intake, 75 TB/Plenum on my car. Is that enough to mess with my air/fuel bad enough for him to beat me? I havent had a tune with due to the fact I just ordered the tuner yesterday. After the dyno tune I should be able to eat him alive correct??

 

Does his 01 pull on you from a stop or a roll?

 

From a stop I jump about a car to half a car. But just wondering if the tb and plenum is enought to mess with the air/fuel. My exaust smells pretty rich but not to sure

you know that crossed my mind....but I had a guy that I know race him and it still happens. The builds and races cars for a living. He is a terrific driver. So I honestly can say it isnt my driving.

yea...I beat my car in his car. He does have a stage 1 clutch. Just found out...but still...not enough??

 

I think once you get that tune you should be set cause i had 96 camaro autowhere i slapped a bunch of bolt ons on it and didn't have it tuned and i was getting beat by the same kind ofcars that had less mods done to them

 

Tuning is EVERYTHING!
