Default driveshaft question???

I just had some 4.10 put in and they were properly broke in and al and there is absolutly no noise coming form them.

When I have the car in gear and im just cruising everythign is fine and there is no vibration or anything........lets say I want to pass another car in front of me and I just push the throttle to speed up....the rpm's will jump up and the car revs but nothing happens.....then all the sudden the rpms jump back down and the car starts to accelarate.

Anyone have any info on what this could be......I was thinking maybe the driveshaft but I know nothing when it comes to cars....except for what I have learned on this site....anyone got any ideas what I could check myself???

an FRPP King Cobra would be alright. that's what i have. they're good for up to like 400hp i do believe. i like mine, and they actually require LESS pedal effort than the stock clutches. u could try Spec, but i wouldn't go past a stage 2, they can be a sum-b!tch as far as pedal effort goes. i always wanted a Centerforce, but when i started researching, i really didn't hear too many good things about them. i'd say ur best bet is the King Cobra.

(oh, and i think fidanza has good clutches too. iknow i have their alluminum flywheel, but haven't heard anything on the clutches.)

i just bought a spec stage one, holds 400 hp and i think 450 tq, but i'm having texas hot rods install it this week i'll let you know how it goes man. the clutch kit cost 238 after tax but i know for a fact you can go on americanmuscle.com and get the same one for 199 and you can get a 6% mustangforums discount and free shipping so it's like $50 less than what i paid. but yeah. i'll let you know.
