What type of GT do you have? That does make a difference since earlier 4.6's will have to do a ton more to get to 300whp than a new edge would.

dude honestly its cheaper just to get a supercharger, unless you really wanna be naturally aspirated...just to show u some prices its 600 for cams (without install and more money if u go more than stage 2 becuase you would need to get springs as well) about 1400 for heads (without install) long tubes are about 450, tb/plenum anywhere from 200-450. just my 2

Yeah I know, honestly I was also thinking aboutlooking intoFrostbittens write-up about a 1500 dollar supercharger. I don't knowwhat I'm going to do yet. I think I just like the idea of the nitrous shot on top of that would be kinda scared to do it on a supercharged motor.Hell ain't even got the money right now for anything right now anyways. The money I had saved up I'm going to have to use to get my grand am gt up and running again. Damn thing blew a head gasket and started leaking coolant into the num.1 cylinder. 1950 is whatthe shop is charging[&o]

It will take H/C/I swap for either the non pi motors or the the pi motors to make those numbers, or at least porting the heads he has if he is pi. If he puts pi heads on a non pi it will do the same or better cuz it bumps the compression too. OP get stageII heads and cams and an aftermarket intake manifold and you will have no prblems with making those numbers, with a good tune.Good luck!

People need to get over dyno #'s. In reality, a tuner can make a dyno read whatever he wants it to read. It's the track #'s that really show off what mods you have added
i thinkyou can't worry about one without worrying about the other. for daily driven street cars.. which most of you own, with full interior and cosmetics, you get a faster track number by having higher hp number. if i say my gt runs 13.5 on drag radials andi can drive the ***** out of my car, you can probably ball park my hpnumbers, or if i say i have280 to the rear and i can drive it like i stole it, you can easily ballpark my 1/4 mile.. i think they go hand in hand.

i don't have time to go to the track or money to get dynoed like you guys so i like to know what youguys run andwhat numbers you haveso ican ball park my car when i start modding it.

question to anyone who wants to answer: is asking.. what mods do i need to get to 300rwhp and what do i need to do to run a 13.0 the same thing?
just wondering.
