Centri > Roots.

Roots are no way near as efficent. You dont see many stangs with roots blowers because they don't make that well of power. Twin-Screw are WAY better than roots as well. Look into Prochargers/Vortechs. You can get an EXCELLENT Vortech kit from Modular Power House for $3900 that comes with everything you need to bolt it up and everything to keep it running (including a tune).

+1 roots arent as effiecent. I say go for Procharger or Paxton Novi 2000 with all the goodies.

ok first off any blower will you put a smile on your face. By Roots i assume you mean Twin Screw, nobody really uses Roots style for aftermarket blowers. Modular Powerhouse has about the best deals on the Vortech and Paxton i believe. I got my vortech from MPH as well as getting it tuned there. They really know there stuff there. Give em a call

and before anybody starts an argument, YES the KBs are great blowers IF you got extra 2k for em. They make great power and have a very good power curve. but like i said before if your broke like the rest of us, then the vortech or paxton setups would be the best bet

Don't do root's.. If you are looking at a positive displacement s/c get a Kenne Bell. Its a twin screw not a roots.. I personally prefer the kenne bell to a centri but the centri vs Kenne Bell debate has been going on for years and its basically a descision based on personal preference and how you are planning on using the car.

a ProCharger D1SC, I have a 3.40" puley and its loud sounds real good. But I have a built engine your going to want a 3.85" pulley but it still sounds good. They make good power and if you ever upgrade the bottom end in your engine you can throw on a smaller pulley and not worry about maxing the supercharger out, they are good till 30-35 psi.
