Tint
I was wondering how many of you people have your rides tinted. I got my GT tinted last week with 20% tint. They warned me that there was gona be a 50/50 chance that the tint wouldnt take to the back window where the "dot matrix" is.
It turned out ohk for the most part, but part of the tint didnt take too well on the back window, along the matrix. Has anyone else had a problem with this? What did you do to get it to stick, or atleast look decient?
Any input would help.

cool.
The kicker here is i took it back to the place that did it, and asked them if they could fix it. After a few minutes of discussion they basicly refused to take the tint off and re-do it. Gave me some **** they are too busy and all. Gotta love it.

That is a very common problem for these cars. My car is the same way. The best fix is to find a shop that can put a vinyl strip over the dot matrix. Its not that noticeable if you don't do it though, I have yet to have someone say "Ewwww, whats wrong with your back window?"
Some shops use a elmers glue stick to get the tint to stick. Others lightly sand down the dot matrix & then tintt the window.......I know of some that will sand the dot matric & then paint it solid black.
I don't blame the shop for not wanting to deal with it, they told you it may or may not take to it.
I would cut the tint to the dot matrix and get a color matching vinyl strip if you can't deal with it.
