Burnout Marks?

My tires just wont leave marks in the street...... even if i sit there and bake them, i still get no marks, i have Goodyear eagle f1's .. why dont they leave marks?

no, there def spinningg alot, but the marks are so faint.. i see these dark marks around my town, and im like why cant my marks be that dark.. lol

lol, **** i left some light bacon strips at the movie theatre parking lot about two months ago. i went there two nights ago and i could still see them.


when you "bake" them is there smoke??!??!?

I had the same tires bro and F1's are too hard compound. When I lit them I could come back, get out out of the car and literally blow the rubber of the street. The rubber doesn't melt with those tires, it just powders off when you heat them. If you want jet black stripes you need a softer compound tire. Softer compound are also louder when you bake them. I was very happy with the F1's performance and think they're a quality tire, the lack of burnout prints notwithstanding...

a better question why are you trying to do burnouts with f1's, those fuggers arnt cheap.

And they'll only smoke if you REALLY heat them but then you're just destroying a high priced tire. They're geared more towards handling and BTW mine were Goodyear Eagle Run-flats 245/45/16's.
