Default Snow Perf. kit

I remember seeing a thread/stickyon info about Meth/water injection. My cookies are all ****ed on my browser so I can't search, sometimes barely post so could someone dig it up real fast? My main questions were
1) Will I benefit from this kit even with an I/C? If so, how much of a gain shouldwith H/C/I/LTs on 10 psi? Is it comparable to running a small shot of nitrous as far as cost effectiveness?
2) How difficult is installation? Should I have a shop do it?
3) Does it spray all the time or only when I flip a switch to make it do so? If so do I need to get a separate tune to run on the meth?

1) Yes as you'll be able to run more timing
2) Not to hard if you have a little mech ability, but after install you need to hit a dyno to have a re-tune
3) It has a controller that you can adjust to spray times, ie. 3 psi
Here is my writeup, which is straight from the Snow site: https://mustangforums.com/m_3430620/tm.htm

Snow Performance

I have some pics of the system installed in my car, the install is easy to do. I have a switch for mine, and a separate tune via KB switch chip. But its always on anyways.

I found out first hand that it's not worth putting it on a intercooled car. Non intercooled cars pick up big numbers but not intercooled ones. My tuner added 5 degrees of timing to my buddies car and it only gained 10 rwhp. That was a procharger D-1 running 19 lbs of boost. The very next day another buddie of mine had his car tuned with a non intercooled vortech on the same dyno and picked up 50 rwhp with the meth.

and i found out first hand it CAN add quite a bit of power. 500RWHP to 530-540RWHP is a nice jump. chris @ excessive put a meth kit on an already IC'd 500RWHP fox and they get it up to around 540RWHP on boost juice.

Great information and thanks for the help guys. I was attracted to it because it looks like a really cost effective way of boosting power without much risk of detonating the motor and after the reading the feedback I don't know why more people don't do it. I still have to install my blower and new tranny so I'll probably save up for this mod to do myself this winter.

1.) how often do you guys refill the meth a week?
2.) did your gas mileage suffer or get better?
3.) where do you get your meth from?
4.) what kind do you use?

Looks like any car that would benefit from a colder, denser charge of air would benefit from this one. I wonder why more people don't run it?
