Default TB/plenum????

Hey guys new to the site... had a question... what is the best TB/Plenum combo out there...

stick with the name brands keep away from the no name stuff you see on ebay, as said above, gains will be minimal but is agood suporting mod combofor things down the road like ablower or cams

Should i put that money into headers??... will my gains be higher... and what would be best on mac pro chambers/magna-pack

i dont know what you have done already so i dont know if this is relevant to you...

i almost got a tb/plenum combo than decided not to because some people will say that you will only see like 5 horse for like $300+. i decided to get suspension and couldnt be happier. i did lowering springs shocks struts and control arms all at once, and it made the car sooo much more fun to drive, for me that is more fun that having another 5 hp. but that is just my .02.

im sure you will hear from others to just save for a blower, and that probably wouldnt be a bad idea either.

either way..its your money, longtubes are the only way to go, in which case you will need a new short midpipe, shorties help but not worth the time/effort/money

and yes you will see much bigger and noticable gains with longtubes

I love the pro chamber sound on my car should i just stick with mac long tubes... How difficult will the install be i heard it might take up to four hours a side.. True/False?.. oh and i will be doing at my house!(dont like paying people for install!!!!)

long tubes took myself and my 2 friends who are auto tech's 2 saturdays to complete (about 18 hours) if you have a lift it makes it 100 times easier, we did it on jackstands in my garage... i reccomend a lot of prayer
