Default Random MGW question?

Ok guys (or gals) I had a MGW shifter on my '99 GT and loved it. The roush short throw that comes in the roush's SUCK!! imo...do you think i would be making a mistake to change out the shifter to an MGW? I mean my car is a roush and its a roush shifter and all, but i just dont care for it...should i leave the roush products on the car...i dont plan on selling it, at least anytime in the near future.. i guess i could keep it and if i sold it put the roush back on...what do yall think

Are you talking about the one with the curved handle? By curved, I mean it's angled towards the back of the car. If so, you might be able to just get a new handle for it. A guy I work with has an '03 stage 2 and I don't like his shifter at all.

Yea thats the exact shifter i have... in my opinion it SUCKS!! Thats why I want the MGW because I have had one and loved it...Im just more concerned with taking the Roush accessories off of a Roush, although I did change the rims..

Oh and sorry it looks like my car is just a LITTLEdirty [:@],this picture wastaken right after i pulled in my driveway..so i hadnt cleaned it yet...and the dates not right either [&:]

Yea I loved the MGW too..looks and feel...I guess my main concern is taking the roush shifter off the roush..but i guess i could buy the MGW, keep the roush shifter and put it up somewhere....I have a feeling that by the time I am done with some of the changes i want to make, people are going to question whether or not its a real roush...But i think the only real changes i want to make as far as the roush accessories is the roush shifter, and roush gauges (I love the Mach 1/Bullitt Gauges ) and the rims (already done)...what do you guys think?

i you dont like the shifter than change it, its your cars not anyone elses. if your that concerned about the roush stuff on a roush car keep the roush shifter and change it out if you want to sell the car. but imo the car is not fun to drive if you dont like the shifter, so change it.

I would keep the yellow roush before I'd go with a Black Cobra....but that's me.
