Just because they car can hit a "mid 13" pass does not mean that specific driver is capable of doing that....just race him for fun, win or lose.

actually the 350 is still heavier by ~70lbs. i really cant see that car running a mid 13s with the specs on paper (its heavier than the GT, 40 more hp and 40 less torque) andwe are lucky to break 13's bone stock without slicks. not saying the times are inaccurate on the 350 but i dont see it.

k just found a writeup on it. car and driver ran a best time of 13.7 with it in a quarter (professional driver...much more experienced than his friend i would assume). take it for what you will butif he does win it will not be the slaughter hes making it out to be.

I watched my friend in a 2G eclipse (stock except bigger turbo and turbo back exhaust)run a 350Z (the one rated at 300/300) and move out ahead of him because the driver in the Z couldn't drive. Race him ASAP so he doesn't more practice in.

same hear, and he had all boltons, but he also hasn't tuned it yet but I still beat him pretty bad. However his turbo is coming in and I think that will be the end of that.

Well in need for speed carbon the 350z had better specs and would be the 2005 gt so I would probably just go by this......knowing it is a video game and all.[:-]

I raced my friends auto 07 Z and he punished me... they're so quick... even off the line, no tire spin at all... it just launches. He had a car and a half on me and kept pulling before we shut it down... and turning, don't even think about it... I almost understeered into a tree trying to hang with him. The new VQ motor in the Z makes Linear power all the way up the revs. that is why it is so fast... we have low end but when racing it's all top end for that car... you might have him off the line but once we shift into second at 5500 and he's still in first going to 7k rpm Z's got us beat.
