hey guys im new! my mods are in my signature....i got a friend on here mustangmancp hes my age and he keeps tellin me tht he could beat me lol. but i keep tellin him "dude its the driver...not the car" but he doesn't believe me. cuz i think my new performance tires i got from walmart will rle get me off the line..and im pretty good at shifting! [8D]well wht do u guys think??? i think i could take him.

like i mean V8s aren't tht much different then V6s...his is lounder but i think if i got tips i could be just as loud don' ya think???

well why not??? i mean seriously come on! i think i could. and my tires are rle good....hes only got BFG g-force tires...they don't look tht "perfomormance" to me.

1) Tips will not increase the sound of your car..... you need the full catback, or midpipe, or headers, or any combination of the 3....

2) BFG g-force tires are better then anything I've seen at walmart so far.... What kinda tires did you get?

 

Dude "tips" have nothing to do with how loud your car is or how fast it will go. An after market catback exhaust, midpipe, or headers is what will give you a more aggresive tone. Also the gt's are louder stock vs. stock with a 6 banger........and as far as you "performance tires" from wal-mart go you are not going to go any faster, you may have some better grip and control but I doubt they will help you win a race.......sorry if that kinda shuts down your hopes.

 

V8's are just loud V6's? oh man[&:]
