Some one told me tonight, that he was for sure thatmy car will run no better then 14.5. with a good driver... Is this true, kinda made me alittle mad cause i thought it was faster then that.

 

Where do you live? High elevation? Your car is capable of running 13s with a good driver behind the wheel.

 

i thought i could possibly be in the 13s as well..... well jersey would be the closest track

 

Asub 14should be no problem. Assuming you can drive, ask him if he wants to bet on it.....

 

The best I've seen from a stock car with BBK shorty's /x-pipe magnaflow exhaust and drag radials is 13.8 with a GREAT driver.

 

13.737 @ 101.4 mph with the mods listed above...on nearly bald street tires.

 

I'm far from a great driver and ran a 13.9 bone stock. With suspension, rearend, slicks, and flows I ran a 13.3 @ 104 (with 230hp)

 

Well... im probably one of the worst launchers on this website and my car stock (minus ebay CAI) ran a 14.57X.... therefore if you can get a better 60ft then a 2.4XX... you should be golden [8D].

These cars respond pretty well to mods though... seems like every mod you do will take off 2 tenths at least... I went from stock to Full exhaust and ran a 13.737 at 101.XX with terrible 60ft's.. 2.19 or something like that. And I had big 315 nitto drag radials.
