Update!!
Ok so i got the mustang back from the shop and here is the update! The supercharger is fine its not doing the compressor surge from what we can tell thanks for that tho it gave us something to look at to also make sure of but the drive shaft on it is really really loose the guy said he could turn it at least half a turn.....this is bad right???? so i called the shop that i got all the work done at and they got pissy with me and said that they did all the work right and that it had to be the differential going out well the car worked fine when i took it to them and now all of a sudden its going out after they changed my gears out???? the new shop i went to is hoping they didnt take off my rear end and put another one on from one of there cars......... [:@]is there anyway to tell if the rear end i got came on my car???? but it is running 9 lbs of boost at redline so you have to be on it hard to get that i was running like 70 in third gear and i think i might have touched 5lbs but its not intercooled either and has the stock pullies so those will be some of the next few upgrades next to a clutch! OH and another thing the bumper is cut from where the first shop put it on the dyno and it drug the ground yeah im p****ed about that too
70 in 3rd, I just ran my dohc up to 115 in 3rd..lol I was datalogging and I had to run through the gears to make sure the knock sensors didn't turn on. I think you may have bogus mechanics all of them that are diagnosing your car. A driveshaft does turn a little bit, not half a turn but could turn from 12-2O'clock positions between the play in your gears and the looseness of your tranny. If you have no gear noise, then it's not your gears! You may have a little more tranny play than usual, but I wouldn't sweat what some bonehead says. You most likely have worn out U-Joints! (bitch to press on and off)
As far as the dyno place screwing your car up, they should fix it. ANY place that has a dyno is Guaranteed to have 2 of 3 lowered or damn low cars. Lets face it, fast cars are low. Corvettes are really low stright up from the factory. I'm doing mulitple datalogs so I don't have to deal with the dyno. That's all they do anyways...to an extent...
