Very condensending comment. Honestly, if you don't give a **** about the thread's subject, skip it! People here have the right to ask about whatever they want. How else are they supposed to learn? [>:]

One very important thing that I don't see mentioned yet about the vert is the possibility of getting it slashed. My friend recently got his brand new top slashed and that would just be a pain in the you know what. If you trust the people around you and won't usually be leaving your car public lots for a long time and you got your heart set on a vert than go for it. I got a coupe/5spd..........couldn't drive a stang any other way IMO. But to each his own.....make sure you look around and get what you really want the first time, she will come to you and when she does you will know.

Already heavy 99-04 GT + several hundred more pounds+even more body flex= FTL!

Edit: If your looking to pull women, your looking at the wrong car. Sorry to say it, but if a vette coupe and a GT vert pull up at the same place, and the nasty skanks who are choosing which lucky guy gets VD tonight only by the car he is driving are going to be GM fans....

Hoss... Judging by the mods in your sig you have never had any need for 'tech' advice..... So what has gone so horribly wrong that you had to consult your superior texans?

And yes... In another thread you called autos 'teh gay' if i remember correctly.... I guess you are right.. That is a little more elementaryish.

sorry to say, but straight performance wise a vert is simply not up to par with a coupe mod for mod. The added weight and flex not only hurts straight line performance, but thru the curves as well, not to mention braking.

Verts are ok, but I would never own one, if for no other reason than not being able to park it and worry about the top getting slashed and your interior messed up/stuff stolen. The weight etc just slam the door for me.
