Default DYNO is in!!

well i put my car on the dyno today to have it datalogged and tuned. I was happy with the results considering it's going through and automatic. I made a little over 260RWHP & RWTQ, the HP is obviously a significant gain from what is in my sig. of my non-pi motor, TQ, I kind of wish was a little bit higher, but overall I'm very satisfied with the power my new 4v motor gave me!

well to be honest that or head porting would probably be my next mod, either one is going to be alot of work so i'm not sure, and it deffinetly won't be soon but that's what i'm planning atleast. but to be completely honest i don't know how i made out moneywise in the end with some of the problems i faced. Total cost of everything came out to about $3300 or so. Now I'm thinking if I would of staying 2v I'd have more than 260rwhp with that money, but I have big plans for my baby and I think in the long run the 4v will achieve the power I want easier.

Any particular reason you stuck with the auto or just because that's what you had?

I'm pretty surprised you only put down 260 WHP, even thru an auto, espcially with a midpipe and catback. What kind of dyno was it?

Are you sure the tune is spot on? I would expect at least around 270-280 WHP... hell a stock 5speed should put down nearly that (4v)

Yeah the tune was on the spot i think, best it could go I'm pretty sure, I had it tuned by Dave Guy at Kauffmans motorsports. He datalogged my dynos and everything like that. I figured it is a little on spot with the auto though because I did the math and I'm putting about 330ish hp to the motor, where the 20-25% loss of hp then takes it down quite a bit through an auto.
As for cams, they are stock, as for torque, it's virtually the same as my HP just a tad over 260rw

4V aren't know for making a lot of torque.
