i had the fuel cap light on sine a month! and i dont know what is the problem with it, i went to a a electronic guy and after he check the engine on his pc he said that my car had sort problem with the fuel electricity!! what the hell is that mean!! and how can i solve he problem??, and i check the fuel cap and there is nothing wrong with it

 

how did you check the fuel cap? Did you put it on a pressure tester? or did you just glance it over? A loose cap can throw an evap code because of the fuel gas evapoprating into the air instead of the evap canister. Try buying a new cap, theyre only like 10 bux...

 

so just buying a new cap will solve the problem?because that guy said i should do some replace elctronic things, also he said that i should check the fuel sensors sine i got a very very bad gas milage

 

well before doing expensive and annoying electrical checks, spend 10 bux on a gas cap, maybe itll work

 

Is it that the code is still in the car? Cause just tightening the gas cap won't make the light go off. You need to clear the code.

im not worried only about the light on, but im also concerned about solving the problem that couse this issue
