Alright, tonight i went and bought the 4cyl front springs from NAPA(part-277-3060) and now im goin to order strange shocks/struts. I just need to know whether i need to stick with 96-04 shocks and struts or get the foxbody style ones? thanks guys

I thought that if you get lowering springs you could use fox struts and shocks...?

I used fox body shocks/struts...I wasn't thinkin' straight for some reason [sm=alcoholic.gif]

 

So they're okay to use for lowered Stangs? I'm getting springs soon and I need to upgrade my shocks and struts. They'll fit no problem, right? And are they any better than just going with new stock ones for my '96 GT?

 

why not just get the 96-04 ones? just to b safe are the fox ones any different?

 

Yes, yes and yes.

I was told they are better because they are a tad bit shorter than 96-04 s/s. They went right in, direct fit. If it didn't say 79-93 on the box I wouldn't have known. Get them and don't worry about it, I promise you they will fit and work out fine.
