Default Plenum/TB Combo Question

Hey all,
I know the Accufab Plenum/TB combo from AmericanMuscle is great at $400, but I was on rpmoutlet.com and was wondering if the Professional Products Polished Plenum w/ Professional Products 75mm TB would be just as successful for $225. Could there really be that much of a difference for $175 more? Because with that, I could go with a JLT intake as well for a few more bucks. Thanks

Right, you say that with what regard? I mean, so many things cost more because of their looks. Something like headers are different because welds are important, but as far as the Plenum/TB goes, is the cheaper one REALLY going to make a huge difference based on performance/reliability?That's what I'm wondering about, along with anyone's experience

i have accufab i love it! would i buy it again if i could do it all over again, proble not...but it looks nice. the throttle response is what your getting dont expect to feel n e power. and i would STAY AWAY FROM RPM OUTLET they are just pisspoor for everything

Go to the "how to" section in the modular mustang section and they will have comparisons and you can use the search. This has been talked over numerous times. And yes, Accufab according to the tests in the how to section shows the most gains....

Thanks for the input guys. Anyone ever buy any of the RPMoutlet plenum/TB combo and have good feedback? I know it's all about throttle response, just curious if it's genuinely that much of a difference.
