Default random question about shortblocks...

i have been researching the process of buying, building, and putting a shortblock into one of our "new edge" mustangs...nothing i can do right now but def. in the plans for the future...

um......if you had a GT

and you built a 4v motor

would you have to change the ecu?
or could you even put it in the car?

How would you not use the ecu and what would you do instead?

depending on the manifold you have, you can use the stock computer as long as you delete the secondary butterflys in the intake. if you use your stock intake you will have to have it flashed for the 4v tune. you can do this with an sct or diablo, etc.
