Default 11 second car

In a little while my car will start a transformation and I want to know if this setup will get me close to my goal. I will swap a 96-98 four valve which should put me in the 13.5-13.8 range and then I will add 4.10's to that bringing me to 13.0-13.2 right? I will just do basic suspension, lowering springs, CC plates, Bilstein S&S, FLSFC, rear LCA, and a pair of sticky tires. what else should I look at in order to have a good street/strip suspension? Then comes the nitrous, I am looking at a NX wet kit and I would spray 100 shot which should get me close. I think I would be hesitant spraying a 150 shot because it will be daily driven plus then wouldn't the tune have to be more on the nitrous side which would affect N/A driving? N/A will be ran most. I'm not all about speed and power when I don't need it so I just want to be able tosay that I am driving a 11 second (or low 12) capable car on the street daily.

I am looking at the NX wet kit from AM and I am wondering if it comes with the WOT switch because it didn't say, so anyone withthat kitcan you tell me if it does? Feel free to add things that will help me out. Sorry to a book but thanks for readin'

i ran a 13.9 all motor no gears street tires. i ran a 13.4 on nitrous letting off because it was my first time spraying and it cought me by surprise. so theoretically my car should run close to 12s on the bottle. so it should very easily run low 12s when i build my rear, and get some 3.90s and 325/5015s.

I would work on getting in the 12's N/A as well as beefing up the running gear before adding the juice. If you can easily run 12's on motor then add the nitrous you'll be in the 11's for sure[8D]

Yeah nitrous will be last anyway and I will make passes with each thing added. I forgot to mention beefing up the rear. Do the four valves still come with just 19# injectors or are they more. Will I need to change fuel rails or anything else to compensate while running nitrous?

Your injectors and rails will be fine up to a 150 shot. You'll need a good fuel pump though.

I don't think the car will ever see a 150 shot so thats good. Suggest a good fuel pump?

i know the nx 2v plate kit comes with a WOT switch and i think 11s wont b a problem after the 100 shot. there are 2v mustangs that run low low 12s on 100 shots and stock motor so i think u can do it with a 4v

I wouldn't run 150 shot too much on a stock 4v motor, but I would get a SCT flip switch. It has 4 settings you can custom tune and turn the **** on the fly! That would be very beneficial to N20 guys and I'm surprised more guys don't go that route. I have an awesome dealer/tuner who can set you up for a descent deal! 11's are gonna be hard even with the 150 shot! You def need to beef up your rear end and tranny to handle the abuse. Slicks hit the weakest point and break it. Somethings gotta give if it aint the tires! You'll need to go on a healthy diet and remove a few things from your car to lose some weight. Also weight tranfer will be key to getting into the 11's. Trunk mounted battery, losing the pass. seat on race day, remove the spare tire, keep your gas at 1/8tank when racing. If dead set on getting own there you would want to get plexi for the rear and side windows. Galss weighs alot! Another thing. You might want to step up the gears just one step (4.30) especially if you have an auto.

I'm one of them, but a built rear and slicks help.
