Coming home from the mall, I got on the throttle hard and one of my intercooler pipes blew apart. Talk about a pain in the ***. Car wouldn't run til I got it re-attached a little. Then I had to be careful the whole way home. [:@]

Haha, why would you need pics? The pipe came out of the coupler. Upgrade to some T-bolt clamps and have some beads welded on the ends of the pipes.

But you know this already.

 

The pics are more of a curiousity thing. When I first read it I thought the pipe blew up.

 

lol. that would be pretty sick if it just shattered from all the air being sucked in..

 

I had a similar event at the track. Was doing a pass and the intake elbow popped off, black smoke galore!

 

And but then it would have gotten all sucked into the blower and ruined the fins and that would be a bad time

 

buddy of mine in his 6.0 banks diesel blew off one of his cooler lines. Had to fix it on the side of the busy *** freeway.

 

at least it wasnt his head gasket. like to see sum1 try that one on the side of the road.

 

Ya but in that case he'd probably just call a tow truck
