hey im bout to go to the drag strip for the first time, and i have an auto...tlel me if this is correct....hold the brake and stall it up until the tires start to break loose, then ease into it and floor it? or jsut ease into it the whole way? and do i go on the last yellow or what...any advice would help thanks a lot

Stall it until the tires are almost about to break loose. I think around 1600-1700 rpm is about where I do it. On your first run, don't try and get the best r/t in the world, just get down the track the fastest you can. Depending on how hard on you launch/spin depends when you should leave, but usually on the last amber light, you'll just have to see when is best for you. I would love to see what times you get so be sure to post them. Which track you going to btw?

hey wel i didnt do so well according to the 1/4 mile conversions and whatever ahha

my best was a 9.078 at 79.402
r/t .249
60 ft 2.145

best r/t was a .090

My 1/8 mile was 9.079 @ 79.6 and my 1/4 was 14.020 @ 99.? so we basicly have the same 1/8 mile times. I would assume you would be running around the same 1/4 time as me.
