Default PI-ing My Engine

I know I need to get the heads, cams, and intake done. Where can i get them PI-ed or do I have to send them to some company to get the PI-ed? Also is it true that the cams have to be bought by the same company that makes the heads so that way they all work together? Thank guys

No just put the PI heads cam and manifold all on your car NPI block. No problems.

PI stands for power improvment, these were revised h/c/i of what you already have. You dont have to send yours off you just buy PI H/C/I that ford began putting in the mustang after 98.

so pretty much what i would be being is the same heads, cams, and intake that are on the 99-04 models? if that is true then how come some people say that the compression ratio goes up when you PI the 96-98 models and makes them a little faster? also, where would i buy them? off fordracingparts or some other place?

That is true that your compression will increase. You dont have to use the OEM H/C, either way you go after market or OEM you will make significant gains.By buying the parts used from somone will just save you alot of money, it just depends on your budget. Your best bet is to find someone on here geting rid of the entire set or just shop around you would be surprised how cheap you can do the swap for these days.

when ever u start messin with your heads and cam's and rotating assembly of you engine your compression changes. the h/c/i on the 99-04's were designed for more air and power. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...1&comp=LRS

those come with cams and valves and those are cheapest i can find em.

so those are the heads, cams and intake to the 99-04 GTs but i know there are cams, heads, and intakes that you can buy that upgrade the heads cams and intake from the 99-04 that are already PI-ed and those are the ones i am looking for. The ones that are really upgrades to the 99-04 cuz i know they are the same engine. Money isn't really an issue as long as its like over 4k and install isn't an issue either cuz my cousin is a mechanic who loves mustangs (thankfully haha) and said that as long as i help with the install he wouldn't charge me
