Steeda battery relocation kit
i just ordered my battery relocation kit from american muscle for my future intercooler. anyone have any advice on installing the battery relocation kit?
Buy beer. Plan out where you are going to run everything before hand. Put the box right over close to the passenger axle. Get the fuel down low so you can lower the tank, it is not as bad as it seems. Just get a jack under it and undo the 3 bolts holding the straps Be careful of lines and everything, but it should come down without an issue. About a foot or so should be plenty. Use lock washers for the box and hold downs, dielectric grease your connectionsand make sure you have good grounds (used one near tail pipe at bumper and near subframe), use good rubber grommets. I havent had any issues yet for about 4 months.
it is not too bad, just take your time

Double OTT (sp) welders cable! Thats what I used in all my Chevy's other wise my car wouldn't start when it was around 110. (which was all summer) More smaller straned tightly wound are better for flow than large bulky strands twisted together. What do you have in the steeda kit?
it looks like the steeda kit comes with a battery tray, box, both wires and installation hardware.
