yeah I dunno if he had anything done to it or what, but yeah like I said if I wouldnt've lost traction it would'vebeen a better race, but he said he runs a 13.7 quarter....Im not sureweather he acually has the time slips for that or if he's talkin out his *** but thats what he said after we raced. I acually just checked and according to road & track the car does do a 14.8 (http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....;page_number=4). So either he had some done to it.....or I really need new tires. BTW I couldnt really continue racing him after I cought traction because it was a road with a lot of curves to it, and I have stock suspension. It would be ideal if it were at a straight street. I have to be really careful anyways because I reside in Virginia and I am sure you folks heard about the cost of speeding tickets.

The fastest WRX in the country (without N20) is from my town. And he cuts 1.7 60fts. They aren't nearly as good for launching as you may think

i suppose... i would just figure that the AWD car would catch traction alot faster than a RWD car , comparing two street cars w/ amateur drivers since not everyone is a professional and knows how to launch way pro...

fyi a mazdaspeed 6 runs 14.4 at best in the quartermile, not ever do they touch 13s unless they are further modded, especially 13.5 i gave a mazdaspeed a dead even race with my v6 at a 45 mph roll, with the 2005 gt it wouldnt even be close. i dunno where u guys got mid 13s stock for that thing, btw yes it was an auto i raced but like i said sticks run 14.4 with a pro driver. get some traction next time. no need for a launch. the mazdaspeed 3s however can reach 13s cuz of there light weight.
