My interior...
Alrighty... When i bought my car it had tan interior, which I do not like at all. I put some black/grey sparco seats in my car because i got an incredible deal on them. When i first got the car thetan/brown interior really got to me, but ive gotten used to it now but the other day somebody again said something about it didnt match and they didnt like thecolor.I want to change my interior to black... Has anybody ever done this? Where could I go to get replacement panels? Would a junk yard be the best place to start? There is also some interior dye sold on the internet, they say its made for BMW's lexus etc... do you think that would work good? I can get the black carpet for my car from 50resto for like 100$ so I got that covered... What do you guys think? Any better ideas?
I still have a bunch of panels for the 94-98's. They are all mint! I have the front kick panels, front pilliars, entire dash w/vents, steering wheel (no air bags) Rear seat panels upper and lower. These are in excellent shape. I will sell them for a package deal if you are interested. PM me for more info
Back when I had my 68 El Camino it came with a blue interior which had to go. I went to the local auto paint shop and bought vinyl dye and all the prep materials for like $80. It came out looking great. No one could tell it used to be blue.

Until you clean it several times and wear on it! Then it looks like crap. Most people like myself use Armorall on the vinyl parts to shine'em up and that will eventually strip the paint on them. Something in it will remove the color from paint.
