Future refrence NOS stands for nitrous oxide systems. Nitrous is what you run not NOS. Stop watching fast and the furious.

02ninja is right cams will cost more plus its better to be safe than sorry so get a good intake. If you blow that plastic one it could shoot plastic into the heads and bend valves which will cost alot more than $700.

Where did you get this BS? I've never heard of plastic getting into the heads and bending valves. I've personally blown 2 plastic manifolds and never had such a problem. A used manifold bought for less than $100 and a couple of hours and I was back on the road. Maybe you'd feel safer with a direct port and a aluminium manifold.......check this pic.....

I was thinking the same thing, doesn't the manifold explode, not implode?

I read about it about a year ago. Plastic shards fall back in and get sucked into the head. It happens more often on the chevys but I have heard of it happing on mustangs. If your nitrous backfiring that much you have a really bad system. Upgrade your nossles and get your pressure right. You got way to much fuel pooling.
