Default plenum ?

so what exactly does a plenum do? why do ppl put them on there mustangs, do they help with throttle responce or do you get more power? im still a little confused on what exactly they do.

they are bigger then stock,helps with air flow.

not worth the money as far i'm concerned, but it does look good under the hood. oh, your looking at around 6 hp to the wheels with FI.
