Squeak question
ok, i just bought a 2002 mustang gt with 50,000 miles on it. Now in my shear delight of the mach stereo system, i hadent noticed that when i hit a bump in the road my drivers door will give off alittle squeak, not a big deal by any means, but since it's basically a new car i'd really rather it didn't because i just parked my 87 fox body and that thing made every kind of noise in the book. i visibly examined the door, hindge and weather striping, everything seems to be ok. I'm just wondering if this is a common problem or if there is a simple solution, this is basically my only issue with the car. thanks guys.
Maybe it's your rubber seal? Try spraying armorall on a rag and then wiping the door seal clean. Also it could be yourwindow! Yup, i bet your window isn't all that tight on the track and the plastic from the track is rubbing on the window. That would suck to take the whole door panel off and rip off the plastic just to tighten the damn window bracket that the window rests on![sm=bs.gif]
