Default What's the deal with this cobra?

Check this out. I found this on ebay. Obviously ugly aftermarket wheels that they didn't even clean to take pics, but look at the back wheels? They look all bent in and tiny like 8" wide rims...lol What's up with the dog ear look, is that from the IRS? I justcannot believe someone would put those wheels on that car. It looks like a 6cylinder with cobra bumpers! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...spagenameZWDVW

wanna point out a pic specifically :] theres just soo many to look at and im not sure which one your talking about in what pic.

edit : lol nevermind! i saw it in the first pic.

i think the wheels are "Clean" just the florescent lighting and the whole gold rims dont go to well on that cobra... most import wheels are 18x8 n such so yeah that makes sense to me since those are...

The "dog ear look" you refer to has nothing to do with the IRS, it's the result of what happens when some dumbass slaps any old wheel on without regard to offset. Worse than stretched tires and my biggest peeve.....[>:]

Most 18's won't even fit on an import. =/

Nice accident leftovers. and horrible offset choice too! What are those... 185's? hahaha

What do you want to bet that the dumbass dealer rotatted the tires from front to rear and now the skinnys are on the front?

Either way, it was a dumbass choice for rims/tires on a mustang and even on the front they are too small.

Nice accident leftovers. if your refering to the mis match of the body line from the door to the fender this is quite common of 99-04 mustangs. i have seen hundreds of new-edge stangs with this alignment problem. this is the way that ford shipped these cars. mines the same way and it has never even been in a wreck only my passanger side is like this and the drivers side is fine! i asked the ford dealer where i bought my car at why it was like this and i was told that it was most likely caused in the stamping process of the fender or door skin. there are thousands of stangs with this alignment issue. just one more thing to watch for when you buy a new edge mustang.

Oh wow.. that sucks. My 04 was aligned perfectly, and I've never seen that on any of my friends' new edges either.. Guess I just haven't seen enough of them.

Usually when I see misalignment to THAT degree.. I assume it was hit one way or another. I guess that's just Ford quality eh? =/
