Hey guys just quick question.....I have a stock 04 gt and I wondered if I went with these mods if I would hit high 12's

Id be worried about my rearend if i were you.A 150 shot on slicks could end the day badly.

 

Do you think I could get there with no slicks?? If not what rear end should I go with???

 

yes you will get there

get a window switch. and set it to where you dont shoot your nitrous till 2nd gear. just use 1st as a launching gear

 

that is what I was planning on doing I figure with the gears I would not spray till second anyway.....a guy aroung hear is dong about the same mods and went 12.78 so I figure I should be close.....I am going turbo later anyway I jut want some fun for now....!

 

+1 if you dont get into the hogh 12's you cant drive. no but you should.

 

yes you can get to the 12's, I would go with a 125 shot, but thats just me, some go with the 150, I like to sleep at night [&:], your rear end will last 20-30 launches, if you dont go nuts on dumpin the clutch.

youll run high 12s all day with a 150 shot and slicks! probly even mid 12s pretty easily with a decent launch

 

With a 150 shot and a decent short time you should be low 12s. I personally would not run a 150 shot on a stock bottom end. If you are running slicks you can spray in first.
