Default cRUISE CONTROL

I know this has been covered a few times but i did a search and still didnt come up with a definitive answer.My cruise control will not work first thing in the morning on my way to work.When the car is warm it works n|o prob.Is there an issue with this and the mustang?Btw i got a 02 gt

GUESS, maybe its something with your brake and clutch controls. I know CC wont work when you have your foot on either of em.

Yeah. Look under your dash at your Brake Pedal, look for a kind of attachment thats made out of plastic, this is your Cruise Control disengager, mine was damaged/broken a few months ago.

mine does the same damn thing some time!!!! but get this most of the time the cruise will not work till you hit 80, then you turn it on and set it, then shut it off and reset it will work fine till the next day!! what the hell!!!????

Thanks ghostrider.I gave it some thought and figured out what i was doin wrong.When i drive,I always keep my foot feathering the clutch pedal,I noticed yesterday thay if i even barley touch the clutch pedal it wont work.So i know what the prob was,me.I just need to learn to keep my foot away from the clutch pedal.

Sorry to steal the thread but does anyone know where the cruise light is? Does mine just not come on or am I an idiot and can't see it?....

no problem, my left foot rests on the clutch pedal when cruisen and the slightest touch wont let it engage, so I have to remind myself to rest my left foot on the deal pedal, thats what its for, lol.

no we do not have a cruise control light which surprises me cause they have a "gas cap open" light.. but no CC light.. hmmm
