Default need help

my car is making a rattling noise, gets louder when i pull the oil fill cap off. sounds like its valve train noise. what could it be? ill probably pull the passenger side valve cover off this weekend and check for anything obvious....just hoping it doesnt have anything to do with timing chain/ timing chain guides....i know they are a pain to replace.

its actually a timing chain but hes rite that seems to be happening alot, when you pull the valve cover off try and pull the chain up off the pulley, it should have a good amount of tension not real loose.

Its either that or one of the followers has popped off. But then the car would be missing like crazy, in the fact that the one valve wouldnt be opening. And if it is the guides then yea its a pain, all your pulleys have to come off along with your T/C cover.
