Supercharged mustang or keep mine???
I was planing to do a pi swap this winter, and still am,but i found a 2000 mustang gt,droptop, leather seats, fully loaded,AT,30k miles,it has a vortech v2 supercharger, full exhauts, not sure what other mods it has,did not really get a good look at it,they are asking $14,500,is it worth it??the only downside is that it is AT but i guess you can get shifter.Or should i keep mine and do the pi swap,it has 132,000 miles on my car, dont know if it is worth thorwing tons of money in my carand then my motor blows. What would you guys do??
Depends on which body style you like better. A forged 5.0 stroker block and stage 3 heads would only run you in the neighborhood of 7k (minus labor)... and then you would have a brand new engine, just waiting for FI.
Your car has a lot of miles to be modding it now. On the other hand for the 2000 GT, it does have low miles, but it's an AT, Convert. & it's already been SC'd by someone else. If I were you I would buy a stock 99-04 GT with under 50k for around $9-10k and then with the extra $, Supercharge it yourself. That would be the safest way to go in my opinion.
