Default LS-2 (Sorry for the Bench racing!)

So guys what does it take to beat an LS-2 C-6 Vette. The 405 hp ones not the new 425.

Is it even possible without spray or a blower? Am i gonna have to go out and get a 100 shot to beat this guy?

(before you ask i dont have any 1/4 mile times and im about 2 weeks out on a dyno . . . )

Any suggestions would be just great.

id imagine your gonna have to have more power than one to beat it(arnt vettes way lighter) blower or spray would be a must IMO..you would need some crafty driving w/o it

Wow those things are light. Also the 6-speed and the 405 hp and 400 trq. Im maybe doing 380 hp at the motor. . . .if even that. . . hmm looks like im gonna need spray to seal the deal. My gf loves those vettes and an acquaintance has one. .. saying he can beat me even with spray . . and my gf agrees[:@]. Looks like im going to be giving up $500 to the laughing gas foundation.

So can an LS-2 C6 vette take a stock Termi?

Yeah im usually not the type for bench racing but i didnt think i could take him even with drag radials. . . didnt want to make a fool of myself. So C5 (350 hp 5.7) vettes should be no problem for me though right?

from a dig they shouldn't be a problem with those 4.30's, from a roll maybe, but doubt it. but damn look at ur motor, forged internals and whatever, it's time for the laughin gas, sweet window switch, and you'll easily blow the doors off that car.

have your girlfriend get it on tape..

Yeah for sure. I know my motor is just begging me for juice. But my wallet isnt. . . yeah but id rather say i beat a vette n/a. . . but id think id be able to take a C5 vette. Drivin a few when i worked at a dealership. Theyre not that quick. But id think since i was making almost as much at the wheels (around 330 or so) as he is at the motor (350) that it really wouldnt be too much of a problem . . . .

You will have no problem with a stock LS1. You don't have much of a chance with a stock LS2 on motor. On a 100 shot, it would be a raping.
