Default 2004 cobra

im looking at maybe geting this cobra. it has like 27,000 miles on it, and they are asking for $29,000.
i went to look at it today, looked pretty nice. i was told that it only had one owner. they said it was garage kept since it was bought....blah blah blah. i noticed that it had some rust on the brakes front and rear. doyou think this is normal wear or what?

Alsothedealer tried to tell me that "you can tell its a real cobra because it has stop pro brakes on the front wheels". as i looked closer i noticed the rear brakes were stock...but the front ones did in fact have "stop pro" calibers and such. was that an option or something in 04 for the cobra? or do you think it was a aftermarket add on?

Where im getting at it is, does $29,000 seem a but too steep for only 29,000 miles? thanks.

yeah that is pretty steep... and far as the rust on the brakes... was it on the rotors or the actual brake calipers... if it's the brake rodors that is fine thats just cause it's bare medal and it's been sittin for a however long it has could be less than a day and it will rust (at least here in houston) but if it's the calipers then iunno... the front and rear calipers should say cobra on them if it's a true 03-04 cobra... the 04 cobra's have the red painted calipers... and the 03 are just a grey with black cobra letters... shop around though dont just go jump into this one...

Yeah definitely keep looking. I just picked my 2003 up for 21,500 with just over 31k miles. The deals are out there, you just need to be patient with them.

A fair price would be anywhere from $23500-27000.
