Default NO OIL PRESSURE HELP

Ya this is the wrong sectoin but i konw most people look here.

Im overdue on getting my oil changed by a couple hundred miles but its only over 3000.

Anyways started up the car, and almost gotta outta my court when my gauge for oil pressure was pat the L for low,

All my other gauges were working so unless one guage can breakt at a time idk. I checked my oil and its at half

My one friend told me to put a quart of oil into it then try. he suggested a bad oil pump or somehitng

Im guessing its not good to drive around on no oil pressure....

help

Im thinking it could very easily be the guage... but also might be the pump.

Wait on some more feedback before you go driving around.

Ummm.. yeah. It would be gone.

Get a mechanical guage from the auto parts store and hook it up... run it and see if you get a reading.

i think my oil pressure gauge is also messed up. it is at high all of the time and i have never seen it move. i was worried about it at one point and somebody told me on here that stock gauges dont really work all that well, and my car runs fine.
