Default Battery Light.......Help please

The little red battery light in my dash is coming on. At first it used to come off after like a half mile or so.........now it just stays on. It was only tonight so I don't know whats up with it and being the idiot I am I have no idea what it could be or how to read my battery gauge. The needle is right around halfway between L and H.....I don't know what that means. Help if possible..........

Sounds like your alternator is charging if the needle is halfway. Go to an auto parts store and have them check your battery and alternator. Most stores will do this for free.

Yup it was the alternator. I took it to autozone and got it tested and it was shot. How homosexual is that. Instead of spending 200 bucks on mods I had to spend it on something that chargers my damn battery.
