Default SUPERCHARGED GUYS!!!! I NEED ANSWERS QUICK!

I just came across a smokin deal on a vortech s-trim setup, 60lb inj, DiabloSport MAFia mass air flow calibrator, SVT fuel pump, plugs , custom dyno session, XCal2, and installation. My question is, what else will i need? This will be my first supercharged car so i dont know any other essentials id need. Who has done this before and been like "oh ****, i forgot to order that!" Please fill me in on what else i better order when i get this stuff. Any guages i should get? thanks

Well that really depends on what a "vortech set up" means. If it's a complete superchargerkit that pretty much covers everything except gauges.

60lbs injectors are also kinda over kill for that setup. Youmay want to look into some 42lbs ones instead.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it not matter what lb the injector is once its tuned because they can adjust the duty cycle of the injectors?
So with 42lbs you may have 80% and with 60 lbsyou would have 50% correct?

right... either injector will be fine... the 60lbs will just have room to grow into... I've read about cars being hard to start and stuff though if the injectors are too big.. because with such a huge hole its only going to stay open a very short ammount of time to get the right amount of fuel.. This makes things a little choppy..

60s have a much better spray pattern then 42s.... they actually have bettter idle and part throttle characteristics then 42s as well

1fast99gt, email me at bob@kurganmotorsports.com
