Okay, so I bought a used Pro 5.0 shifter for $60 figuring it will do until I get an MGW ($ is a little tight right now). I figured when I get the MGW I could sell the Pro 5.0 for what I paid for it at least....

This @#$%ing thing is a POS! The damn handle that come with it is a frickin' joke! I couldn't even reach the damn thing it's so short! So I had to bolt the stock handle onto it and now it feels the same as stock.

Oh well, a bigger reason to get the MGW.....

 

I have the Pro5O, and I love it? It's not really all that short. Maybe you have some weird handle on there?

 

Are you questioning your own "love" for your Pro 5.0 shifter?

And to OP,

Most people are happy with MGW, you should like it. I'm one of the few that doesn't, but it IS better than stock.

It has "Pro 5.0" etched on the side and it's half the length of the stock handle. I'm 6 feet tall and I have the seat almost all the way back. With my back flat against the seat, I can't reach 1st gear with my finger tips. On a 2-3 my hand slid right off the **** and into my CD player.

hmmm, I love my Pro5.0 and I'm short w/ short arms and reach it just fine.
