But Fed-Ex doesnt deliver to my house usually till like 5pm. So my cars all apart and I have no head gaskets or bolts or anything. So now I am out of my mustang for another day!!! I HATE FED-EX.....with UPS it arrived eariler even over weekends!!!!! I just hadda vent a little bit sorry

Although this should be in the general section I wont say anything.... [sm=icon_quiet.gif]

That sucks man... dont get too mad though, it could be worse... like you didnt even have the money to do the PI swap to begin with. [&o]

i would love if ups/fedex both delivered at 5pm... i always have to drive to pick my stuff up because they deliver 11-3 and i work all day... most expensive stuff requires a signature so i have to drive 25mins to get the stuff

Im a service manager at Fedex Ground, which part of fedex did they ship? cause this is usually how it works.
Express = next day or 2 day shipping
Ground = 2-5 days
Home = Can take awhile

Key thing Dont ship during Christmas it will take longer on deliveries. Home gets piled up to where Ground has to ship there stuff as well. Which means things may take a little longer.
Also Fedex usually doesnt ship weekends unless the contracter decides too. Each route area is owned by a driver so its his business to run that route if he fails we usuall take stuff off his route and run it ourselves.

Sorry for the shipping, UPS is usually faster(you didnt hear this from me)

FedEx beats the pants off UPS here in Northeast Florida--UPS will often leave things shipped via ground service sitting in Jacksonville (40 miles North of here) for a day or two, apparentlyjust to make sure it takes the advertised 4 to 7 days to get delivered...

Ya in some areas Fedex is alot faster than UPS, but here in the mid atlantic region UPS is slightly faster...the warehouses in our area get over flown.
Like out in Europe UPS and fedex get there butts kicked by DHL. Though its gonna change eventually.
But all in all it depends on the driver.
