allright guys, so my parents offered to get me something for my car for my birthday. i've been lookin to get a new hood b/c i hate the non scoop GT hood. its a 99GT with an 02 motor with bbk o/r x, magnapacks and 4.30s. cruizinconcepts has the ViS CF cowl hood for $450 plus shiping with the total right around $600. i have to stay around that price range, and i can't just save the money for a blower, which is what i'm expecting to hear. it's my DD so i want to keep it reliable, and in my college life i can't be replacing my trans and stuff right now. i was thinking of a nitrous setup, but not too sure about my trans lasting. i should have a pretty nice tax return so thats going into the blower fund...lt's are an option, but then i have to replace my midpipe as well, so......any other ideas in that price range??? thanks, chris

I say go for the hood. LT's and a new midpipe (depending on brand) are gonna be more than 600 with installation.

i think you should get a styling car first... that cowl is a little to much for me especially on a vert
