Default cold air intakes

i'm in the middle of picking a cold air intake for my 96 G.T my first idea was to put either a K&N under the hood or a BBK. anybody know any better performing intakes?

I have a JLT RAI, no SOTP gain, but a little better throttle response, and it sounds cool too. I would save my money for something else if I were you.

If your gonna go with a cai, go get yourself a couple of 4" rubber sleeves 4" pvc piping and fab up your own Rai or cai. That is all JLT cai/rai's are. But if you must buy a cai/rai I would recommend a JLT one. I love my jlt cai, had a hard time twisting the pvc piping in the rubber sleeve but its a nice piece, nice and clean and not the typical bling bling things you see.

Used like new JLT RAI, $100. If you shop around

And just FYI, I switched from a BBK CAI to this RAI, I couldn't tell a difference in performance but picked up a consistant 3 mpg.

i'm not fully (CAR PERFORMANCE) literate, what exactly does RAI stand for? and from the sound of it its just like or maybe even better than K&N or BBK.
