Default turn downs stinky

ive been told that turn downs underneath any car will make it smell really bad inside it. Is this true? I want to put them on my car but not if it does that.

If you have an O/R midpipe it will stink regardless of turndowns. The turndowns will probably just direct the "stink" more towards you. If you are catted then I don't see why it would stink.

You should be fine with a catted midpipe.I don't know what the laws are around your area regarding turndowns. I know some places it is illegal, if not illegal in most states.

personally i like the tail pipes, if you want it louder just change the midpipe.

I'm not sure where you'd be able to look it up. I'm sure you could ask any shop that does inspections, they'll be able to tell you.

I agree. With turndowns it'll look funny with open exhaust cutouts in the bumper. Plus stangs just look awesome with beefyaftermarket tips.

Well its more than obvious why the turn downs are gonna be 'stinky'.. because they exit UNDERNEATH the car. Big ole beefy tips FTMFW.
