okay so i just went out literally 2mins ago and snaped some pics of it in my engine bay and showed where i mounted the plate on the engine itself. sorry for the messy / dirty engine bay pics... i cant stand it either but i haven't had time to clean it up.

heh you gotta love those ! but theres no real "need" for a bigger MAF unless i go F/I which i will later.. the 4" pipe is to have more cooler air... but yep thanks for the comments everyone!
