Default I NEED HELP

Alright guys I hope these aren't dumb questions, but I'm about to buy me a GT Mustang and I need to know a few things. First off, should I go with the 1999 through 2004 body style or the s197body style, which do you guys prefer? Also this car will have to bemy daily driver, so how many guys on here are driving their mustangs everyday? I will be putting about 12 to 15 thousand a year on it. Last but not leasewhat do you guys like better convertible or hard top. Here isa pic of 2003 I have been looking at for $17,000 it has 43,000 miles on it.

Disregard the 2006 mustang I don't own that car anymore. (Sold because it was a V6)

err, why are you asking us for our opinions, it's your mustang, if you like a heavier but better responding(mods wise) and also squarer looking stang go with an s197. If you like the lighter but anemic 2v then get the 99-04. What is your budget? how much are you willing to spend? what do you want out of the car? do you like driving with the top down? do you care that the convertibles have a weaker frame?

I have been looking through a lot of mustang magazines and it seems the 99 through 04 body style has been forgotten. All you ever see is s197, I guess it is because you can do so much to them. I'm looking at spending no more than 18,000 for one, so I guess the new body style is outta of my range, but when I had my v6 I had nothing but problems out of it.

you can get an 05-06 gt for about 18k, or you can get yourself a decent mileage 02-03 for about 12-15k depending on how hard your willing to look, use the left over 6k-3k for an sc and you'll have something quicker than the 05+ gt's and at the same price.

New edge is better then the s197 imo. Its lighter and easier to work on.

Why has no one suggested a 4V?

You could find a Mach 1 for about the same price with the same mileage. a 99 or 01Cobra would be even cheaper....

NO, it is not a good deal. $13K would be reasonable. $17K is Mach 1 range, which if that is what you are aiming to spend, a Mach would be a very wise choice.

Or, you could buy my car for payoff, at right around $11.8K
